How minutes work
Your subscription includes 60 minutes of call time each month. Each call uses some of those minutes. US, Canada, and European landline calls are 1:1, and European mobile calls are close (typically 1-2x).
More distant destinations like East Asia or Latin America use a bit more per minute. Your dashboard shows the exact cost after every call.
Example: A 1-minute call to the US uses 1 minute.
A 1-minute call to a European mobile uses 1-2 minutes.

Billing starts when the call is answered. If nobody picks up, nothing is used from your balance.
Calls are billed in 1-minute increments, rounded up. A 40-second call counts as 1 minute. Your dashboard shows the exact duration alongside the billed amount so you can see both.
Your minutes refresh each billing cycle. Need more before then? Refill packs are available from your dashboard, and extra minutes carry over.
The exact rate depends on which carrier the person is on, which can vary within a country. Your dashboard always shows the real cost, so you know exactly what each call used.
